PODCAST: Talking Women in Sport hosted by Olympian Lee-Ann Persse

    By Kirsten van Heerden | Newsroom, Podcast | 0 comment | 27 February, 2020 | 2

We are excited to announce that our very own podcast series, hosted by 2 x Olympic rower Lee-Ann Persse, is now live!

On this podcast we will be talking all things women in sport as founder Dr Kirsten van Heerden says, “We want to create awareness around issues women face in sport, a safe place to share stories and experiences but most importantly we want to make sure no one feels alone in what they are going through. Lee-Ann is the perfect host for this series as she is a passionate advocate for women in sport as well as being very open about the challenges she herself faced both while competing and now in life after sport”.

Lee-Ann was equally thrilled to be hosting the series, “It is an honour to be asked to host the Girls Only Project podcast. I fully believe that through telling our stories as women in sport we can create change and, more importantly, help girls and women cope with the ups and downs of sport and life”.
